Cocktails on the 5th Floor of Harvey Nichols.
This was my first visit to the Champagne bar on the 5th floor, and I was not disappointed.
For my first drink I chose the Marshmallow martini from their menu- they use homemade marshmallow infused Absolut vodka, and lemon juice creating a slightly sweet but sharp cocktail.
My next drink I asked Stanni to make me a Passionfruit Martini, and it arrived with half a passionfruit floating elegantly on the surface. My thrid drink was the Champagne Christophe. “An elegant blend of crème de cassis, eau de vie de poire,
and Harvey Nichols Brut nv Champagne, served well chilled and dressed with a thin slice of fresh pear.” And it tasted as good as the description sounded.
We had some oysters with our cocktails and some mini burgers and other minature food. I havn’t had oysters for many years and had almost forgotten how to eat them, manageing to spill some of the liquid all over me. Can’t take me anywhere!
