and just tuck in
I was walking along the sea front in the new town of Sozopol looking for something to eat, I had thought I wanted a takeaway but then I came across the menu of this restaurant. I saw that they had fish soup and I immediately wanted it, I had to have it. I figured they wouldn’t be able to give me takeaway so I sat in, on the terrace looking out onto the sand below.
I love eating seafood but rarely ever make any for myself at home, partly as I’m always a little unsure of the best way to cook fish. My mum bought me a book on how to prepare and cook fish to help me overcome this! Although this particular recipe is not from that book- it did help to inspire me.
Pumpkin Season is upon us, and squashes of all kinds are currently in our supermarkets and local green grocers.
So what do you do with all those left over pumpkins after Halloween? And the seeds and insides you had to scoop out to make your ghoulish face? My new housemate Tim makes a delicious pumpkin soup, and we christened our new flat by making this soup together.
